I'm not a fan of 8th Street Music. They tried to pass off a used and battered bass as new and had the audacity to refuse to refund shipping charges when I demanded they take it back.

My DB212 that arrived on Saturday (instead of Monday like Amazon originally stated) seemed to be brand new, in the normal Aguilar box. I noticed what must be the original shipping information from Aguilar on it was from April 2015, so maybe that is why it was getting liquidated. It is a long time for a box that big to sit on a shelf in a warehouse.

Hoping to really play through it tomorrow when the band practices.

I picked up a Godin A5 Ultra Fretless on Amazon last month for $860.01. Current model, don't think it was used, but it does have a problem with noise in the piezo pickups - might be a ground problem. But other than that I've been really enjoying it. Working with Godin to get the noise fixed (really don't want to exchange it through Amazon - the feel and action are just too nice)

Posted it to the Hot Deals forum, but unfortunately didn't realize at the time that this thread would have been more appropriate... looks like they do drop below $900 from time to time.

Keep a close eye on their Black Friday deals - by far my best score on Amazon to date was an NS Designs CR5M for $1996.31 back on November 25, 2011.
