Poll: Where do buy your online gear from? (Edited, multiple votes now!)

If it's smaller items I try to buy from Sweetwater, because I like their customer service. But far and away I have spent more money at zZounds, because most of my purchases are larger, I'm at the lower end of the income chain, and they offer the best payment plans. Bought my Hofner HCT500/1 and...

Ha, yeah, it definitely is way louder than I thought it would be. It rattles my house's windows at not even half volume and gain.

IT ARRIVED! I love this amp. Still dialing in, but within 2 minutes of setup had a sound I loved with both my Fender Active Jazz Bass Special and my Hofner HCT-500/1. This thing is awesome.

Well. Officially ordered the Fender Rumble 500 v3 amp head and Rumble 210 cab. Super excited. Wish I could've afforded express shipping so I wouldn't have to wait.

Yeah it sounds killer. Definitely sold on it. Looking forward to whenever it gets here, gotta order tomorrow, which is payday :D

Yeah, I've always played 15's, but a single 15 isn't cutting it any more, and I can't afford two lol

Sounds good to me. Think I'm convinced to get the 210 cab with the 500 amp head, and get another 210 later when I can afford it.

As far as it goes, will the 2x10 hold up to an 8x12 guitar stack? Don't need to overpower, just need to be heard.

Considered that, but I really want the convenience of the separate head. There are some shows that I could just bring that to, since we play churches sometimes too. Probably going with the 210, it's only 9 bucks more a month than I was gonna pay, and I get the locking system and the lighter weight.

That's another reason to buy the 210 lol. I've got about 24 hours to make a decision here, and I was pretty solid on the Peavey til I asked lol. Glad I did though. Got some thinking to do.

Ha, yeah, I just ran that calculation myself. Sadly, as you see, they are out of the 410 til May 11th, and I need the rig by next Friday. May go with the 210 and buy another later.

The Peavey 410 is $300. I'm slightly lower income, so I'm going with Zzounds payment plan, making my payments $116 a month for 6 months. I'm tempted to consider the Rumble 210 cab, but I'm concerned, as we play a lot of outdoor gigs, and my guitarists both go through 2 4x12 Marshall stacks.

I'm inclined to agree there. And CharlyG, I would consider going the modification route if I had time, but sadly I have a show next weekend that I need the set up by, so one way or the other I'm ordering a rig tomorrow and praying it ships in time.

Cab is an 8 ohm, so I know the head would only push 350w to it, but that's plenty for me, considering that my old combo was 125w through 1 15. Always liked Peavey cabs, but never owned or gigged with one, so I'm a bit nervous.
