Fender Rumble Club

@dawhatthevid You just need more volume is all. The Rumble 500 combo goes plenty deep and will handle a low B with ease. Be sure your gain structure is properly set up with a good amount of volume on the master. Run a search of this thread for 'Rumble Talks' as they contain a ton of good intel.
No offense if not applicable; make sure your strings are good and your bass is functioning nominally. My v3 500 combo is really good on the low E 41Hz or thereabouts.

That's what they used to be until recently. FMIC raised the price of the Rumble 500 combo from $499 to $549 and then again to $599. During that last raise the Rumble 200 combo got boosted up $50 to $449.

I love the 500c with the 210 under it. Just massive good tone. That being said, I'm a gear whore lol and am practically giving away a stack here in Cali and there is no love for the rumble out west I guess. But seriously, why can't I stop the madness and just be happy with my Rumble? I need some couch time...

I've had a few days with my new Rumble 500 combo. It (might be) replacing my GK 212ii which is in the shop(again). Luckily the GK never failed me on a gig, but it is worrisome, hence the change to the Rumble (s).

I have another Rumble 500 on the way to chain together to use for gigs. More power, maybe better tone? And redundancy are the pluses.

First impressions are pretty good. I haven't had it in a band setting yet, tonight we will see.

I did notice that the 500 is close to sounding "flabby" on my low notes open E....F. It's taken a bit of tweaking with my EQ to get past that.

I've also noticed I use a pick much more when playing through the Rumble. Pick attach just sounds much clearer (to me) then fingers. I normally play with just fingers on 90% of my bands songs. Now I use a pick probably 60% of the time.

When my GK is fixed it will be interesting to A/B these two amps.

Ha, yeah, it definitely is way louder than I thought it would be. It rattles my house's windows at not even half volume and gain.
Yep. I've yet to take my R500 rig past half/half, too. That was already in the "hearing damage" realm (and outside)!

Hope to have some friends over and get it out again next weekend. The R100 gets the practice time.

Cheers,
