Fender Rumble Club

Oh yeah, @GregT has shared a shot plus plenty of older shots of Rumble 500 on top of a Rumble115 cabinet. Same size box. No visual difference.
You might be remembering me ask about the same thing. Someone else had pictures of it though. I still look at the 115 cabinet every time I go to Springfield. The 200 just does such a great job on its own though.

OK, for some reason I thought it was you, but the shots are out there. Search, baby, search. Oh! and @GregT don't you need to buy a Fender Rumble 115 extension speaker cabinet? I think you do! ;)

I just though I'd show the settings I used last night. I am running an American Standard Precision. I really enjoyed the clarity I got with the highs boosted. It was still a very full and round bass tone with a nice growl. We were at a pretty low volume because there were no drums. I was listening with my ears and not my eyes when I turned the knobs. Tweeter on and no buttons pushed. My idea of great bass tone has changed recently.

I just tried it, interesting setting when using a Precision with SPB-3 pickups. Roll the tone knob back a bit and it has a nice, mellow, woody tone. I'm going to have to try this on Monday, when I can turn it up past barely on

And @Linnin is right, this would be a great addition to the Tone Pool.

I added the settings from the picture in post #10178 to the Tone Pool. It really does look like a pretty extreme setting, but it just worked at such a low volume with just acoustic guitars through the PA. It was a slow night at our jam/open mic. I was also running my Precision with the volume and tone knobs backed off slightly; something I have learned to do here on TalkBass.

Hopefully this is the right place to ask this, and if it's already been brought up I apologize, but does anyone know what it's like running a Fender Rumble 500 v3 amp head through a Peavey 4x10? My old Behringer combo finally bit it (11 years, crazy for a behringer) and I know I want the 500 head, but I can't afford the cabs to match. The Peavey 4x10 meets my needs sonically, and fits in my price point.

I haven't personally used that configuration, however I have the 500 combo which is the same head. I can tell you that the EQ on this amp is very responsive. Meaning that I'm sure you can get a very nice tone. Is that cab a 4 or 8 ohm?

Cab is an 8 ohm, so I know the head would only push 350w to it, but that's plenty for me, considering that my old combo was 125w through 1 15. Always liked Peavey cabs, but never owned or gigged with one, so I'm a bit nervous.

Oh I misunderstood. I thought that you already HAD the Peavey 410. Can I ask how much you are paying for the 410? The reason I ask is that the Rumble 210 cab is only $349 and Sweetwater has a 3 payment plan. That's what I did and my payments are $116 for 3 months. I bet that head would sound great through the 210, and then you could get another 210 down the road.

The Peavey 410 is $300. I'm slightly lower income, so I'm going with Zzounds payment plan, making my payments $116 a month for 6 months. I'm tempted to consider the Rumble 210 cab, but I'm concerned, as we play a lot of outdoor gigs, and my guitarists both go through 2 4x12 Marshall stacks.

I have a show next weekend that I need the set up by, so one way or the other I'm ordering a rig tomorrow and praying it ships in time.
Fender Rumble 500 is most certainly the right choice. I have no direct experience with the Peavey 410. All I can tell you is the Eminence 10's in the Rumble cabinets & combos are outrageously good. Rumble 500h + Rumble 410 = $800. I bet if you call and order today you can get a good discount.
