Fender Rumble Club

Someone asked earlier... here's a Rumble v3 115 cabinet with a Rumble v3 200 combo on top.

I put the vintage Fender badge on the R200 combo to match the R115 cab.
I am currently having a lot of love for this rig!
With the GAIN at 7 (essentially not used at all) and the MASTER at 9 o'clock, I rattle every loose object in my living room.

I've got your midnight wine pbass with black pick guard's twin.

Nice!

I picked up that MIM Pbass for $100 after someone's ex-girlfriend used it to smash his car. There were some major dings. I stripped it naked and Invalid Link Removed auto touch-up paint. As is common with Fender, it's a GM color -- Dark Toreador Metallic. The original paint is a clear wine color over a light blue metallic base but the Duplicolor combines it into one can. Fender has also made instruments with the clear wine over the clear Fullerplast.

This has made a fine bass! Good enough that I may upgrade the pots at some point. It needs a fret job, but for now it plays great!

Hey all, I've gone Rumble crazy. I've just ordered a Rumble 500 from Sweetwater and of course then just saw a great deal on the TB forum for a Rumble 500 and its local to me too....so I bought that too.

Here's my dilemma. I was thinking of returning the Sweetwater Rumble 500 and exchanging it for a Rumble 115 Cab to pair with the one Rumble.....or do I keep the two Rumble 500's and run them as stereo for my gigs? I like the idea of a larger sonic footprint as well as the back up pluses a second amp offers. I can also leave one of the Rumbles at my friends jam room where I play every week and then not have to lug an amp around as much.

Decisions, decisions.

I think you just answered your question!
KEEP THEM BOTH! :)

[I got two Rumble 500 combos now!]

Don't forget...

You can chain them together for a huge mono sound.
Connect EFFECTS SEND on one amp to EFFECTS RETURN on the other.
This will give you 700 watts out of the combined 4 speakers.
If, at some time, you want to add extension cabinets, you would be capable of pumping out 1000 watts through 8 speakers.
And that, dear friend, is nothing to sneeze at.

I think I'll call refer to mine as Dark Toreador Metallic from now on ;)

Ahhhh, very cool. So one amp is a slave of the other? Or can you control them independently?

"Effects out" amp would be the "Master" ("Effects in" the "slave"). Controls on the "slave" would do nothing - you would only be using the power amp and speakers. All pre-amp controls (including the "Master") are ahead of the effects loop....

Go for it!

Cheers,
