Oh No! It's the RUSH Laundromat!
I'm not sure if this will work but here is a sample of what the Rumble 500 combo sounds like in a live situation. Please excuse the miscues but you can clearly hear the bass and I wasn't even half way up.Dropbox - mustang sally croped.mp4
Thanks. I wasn't sure if the link would be accessible. I'm really digging the overall vibe of the rumbles. Love the old school grill and metal corners too.Sounded good!
I say get a V3 Fender Rumble 115 extension speaker cabinet, and be happy! Let the anti-mixed driver gestapo be damned. Pffft!Obviously pairing a 500c with a 210 will work perfectly. It's recommended by Fender, but what about a 115? Shouldn't that also work just fine?

Forgive me, probably asking the same question, but I've asked around a bit and never have gotten a really solid answer yet. Obviously pairing a 500c with a 210 will work perfectly. It's recommended by Fender, but what about a 115? Shouldn't that also work just fine? and then the 112 people say they like, but won't that be quieter than the 210s? I feel like I would want either a 112 or a 115 to pair with the 500c, but if a 210 will be the loudest I'll just do that. Not so sure how it all works, admittedly. I understand half the power goes to the extension cabs, but you can't send half your output to 4 speakers, the other half to two.
I want to absolutely maximize volume, want awesome Rumble tones, maybe mix speaker sizes (if safe), and not blow anything up. Thanks guys!
That's because it is. Tighter too.I like the sound better in the raised-off-the-floor position. It seems somehow cleaner.
doesn't help i was at GC this afternoon waitng out traffic and playing through several of the v3 combos...honestly though I think i did slightly prefer the tone of the 100 (on top of a 4x10 stack) over the 200 (on the floor).napalm
"Dump" is probably exactly the right word. Missing a knob and blown speaker means a hard life. I'd consider it for about a buck and a 15 minute drive, nothing else. God knows what got spilled in it.i see someone trying to dump a rumble 200v3 for like 40usd. missing knobs and a blown speaker. i don't have a cab myself to test the preamp/power section with. i assume if that works then a speaker replacement might be a go. sadly it's also more than an hour away. any suggestions?
