Fender Rumble Club

The Rumble flavored Kool-Aid is good....

I have been looking to downsize my rig (wanting light weight, good sounding/looking combo)and went into the store and tried a fender 500 combo and a GK MB210....both were light weight and sounded very similar but I opted for the fender:
Light weight+
has a retro look (silver face grill/nickel corners)+
large/solid control knobs+
easy to use+
cool "vintage" option+
great tone+

Hands down, I love this combo!! I play mostly roots rock with either an upright bass or a Dano longhorn with flats. Both sound excellent through this amp. I like the vintage option (the contour option and bright option I don't use much) and I usually play with the eq flat but roll off the bass or treble if things get too boomy.
Only thing I don't like is the "dirty" channel: sounds like a cheap distortion pedal...

Yeah I know I'm not a member, but you can sign me up! I have a Rumble 40 at home. Amazing amp for its size and even more amazing I got it for 80.00! Actually Yahboy's amp cover idea is pretty cool! Unzip the front and roll it up and play and leave the cover on if you want. I like to tease him because his pencil drawing reminded me of a dishwasher!

Beside the good sound, the look of v3 combo is absolutely sexy and elegant.
