daisy chaining them is no problem whatsoever. it actually makes no difference electronically. i've done this with my 4x10 and 1x15 both straight from the head and daisy chaining with the same results.

is the cab the 4 ohm or the 8 ohm version?

not anyone new, but before i owned my fusion, i had an ampeg svt450h and that had a nice bright sound to it. with the fusion, it's a smoother tone, a little less hissy, but i have to do some serios eq-ing to get the tone a little more in the grindy, punchy, bright range over the big, warm, boomy...

i have no experience with the 1001, but i do own a 550 and i've found it's almost too deep as well. i had to dial back the lows and low mids considerably before i found a sound i liked...

i just bought a monotron tonight. i need to get ahold of some adaptors but i bought it under the idea that i would be using it as a filter for bass. even as just a cool pocket-synth, this thing is really cool. i'll let you all know what i think of it once i have a chance to hook my bass through it.

awesome, 500w into a 410 is generally enough for me and that's what i use most of the time. if it's any bigger i bring a 115 too. i've used 210s before, didn't really do it for the spaces we play. i think in addition to styel differences, there are also different ideas of what's a "big rig."...

i think a lot of people aren't completely understanding the scope of the local punk or hardcore or metal scenes. it's not feasible to bring in our own PA. we get 30 to 40 minutes to play, that's including set up and break down. we're playing in teen centers and bowling alley back rooms...

oh my. this is a beautiful instrument. i have an '82 natural finish without a case that i paid almost this much for, so this is a great deal. i'd love to get my hands on this but i don't have the cash right now. somebody pick this up before i dip into my savings!
