I've not owned or played an NS NXT, but the scale length is only 34". That makes it an upright bass guitar. For the MK, or a Stagg you use 3/4 bass strings ( at least 41" scale). Make a huge difference in the sound especially for standard jazz. I tried for several years to get a semi-hollow...

Here are few photos of the unboxing this Friday. I love this bass! Volume direct into a PJB Double Four was impressive. It is so much more comfortable to place than the Stagg. The bouts are very stable. There is a wooden plug on each arm which sits an a recess preventing any movement. A delight.

I believe that is for the Studio model. The base Jazz-P is ~1900. Mine with an ebony fingerboard was 2267EUR including shipping to the US West coast. It takes a 500EUR deposit then Mirko had it built in about 6 weeks.

My Jazz-P shipped yesterday. Should arrive in 5-8 business days. Mirko provided detailed instructions for setting it up and maintenance. :hyper:

My La Bella 7710s from Golihur have arrived at Mirko's shop! He'll finish the setup of my Jazz-P and send me pictures tomorrow. So psyched!

It is a big commitment, but I've ordered one after reading the posts here, listening to the demo videos and exchanging emails with Mirko. Mine is built, but waiting on the arrival of a set of LaBella 7710s I ordered from Gollihur and shipped directly to Mirko.
