    They do have that good ass EMG sound and I think they are passive. You don't need a preamp with them just use Rickenbacker wiring and the push-pull tone cap and Wow wee! Throw that preamp in the trash or sell your guitar to me

    I need them for my RBX 375. I measure 110 mm x 38 mm on my Yamaha RBX 4 string. I think it is possible that Yamaha uses the same pickup on the 5 string

    Can anyone tell me if The Bartolini candy bar single coils sound like the G3 pickups which have a tight sound and no mud? Better yet can I put an inline cap on a muddy pickup before the pot?
