i prefere the MIA P bass for playing live but use a MIA Jazz for all recordings as it is tone-tastic

just checked it out then but could only find a guitar test of it. if its as this guy is making out, it should make for the 'complete setup' thanks :bassist:

it just feels a bit cheap. both our guitarists use boss multi FX and get awesome tones from them. The L6 just seems to have a bit of chorus on it and thats it. its good in that it has a direct out aswel as amp output but i cant help but feel its suffocating my sound. maybe im not using it right?

im currently using a line 6 bass floor pod but am thinking of changing to a Boss ME20b. is this worth my while or will it be just swings and roundabouts?

a small steam cleaner would also do the trick

warm soapy water should do the trick, just dont go overboard near the electrics (if you cant be arsed stripping it down fully)

i always feel better knowing if one breaks there is a back up but i use 2 different tunings and the difference in the tones really helps the sound. P-bass and T-bird FTW

The newest jazz is amazing. my band has just been lent one from a close friend and it plays like a dream. plays much easyer than the P-bass but but lacks the punch. its got a soft rounded sound to it making it perfect for recording. richie

I also have the epi in alpine white, got it second hand but was happy to pay more than retail as it, being a custom shop playes so much better than the standard epiphones. i use it with my USA P bass which gives me brilliant contrast to the T-bird
