Hey Im thinkin of doing some kind of custom job in the future and am wondering for those of you who have warmoth 4 string neck how do they feel?

would I be able to put the new pickgaurd on then just use it like a template, or would it get chewed up pretty good?

Alright so I got rid of my Precision to get my geddy lee that Ive had my eye on for some time now, and after playing it for a while, Im starting to miss the p bass sound and the feel when I anchor my thumb on the pickup. Now say if I were to get a new pickgaurd cut to fit and a precision...

So I'm new to bass strings after playing guitar for 5 years and now deciding to switch over to bass, I've always just played whats on them but I need a new set now.So can you guys explain to me the tone qualities between flat and roundwound? I play mostly metal if that helps. Thanks

Wow alot of great things said about these SX basses, I rememeber when I played only guitar I was thinking of buying an SX but never did. I'm looking for another bass to use for my thrash band, how do you think this one would do? Link Removed
