I own a Harley Benton P bass, it actually sounds pretty good. And while there's nothing wrong with it, my Squier VM is much much better value, it sounds and feels nicer to me as well.

Do I look like a bassist?

I've been told this before, some girl in my class said it to me, when I asked her about it she told me the bass player is always the geeky eccentric one. Thoughts? :confused:

I've been thinking about doing that for a while, I love the P tone and a P with a jazz neck would be awesome.

Okay firstly, I'm not looking for anybody's advice on which one I should get as that stuff is all purely subjective. I just thought it would be an interesting subject. So, which do you guys prefer? And why do you prefer it? Personally I prefer the Jazz neck as it feels more comfortable for me...

Ok so as part of a college assignment I need to conduct a swot analysis. (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) And I chose to do Fender. The thing is, I'm having trouble trying to come up with weaknesses, so I'm wondering if anybody can help out.

Personally I prefer lighter gauge strings for playing slap

New stainless steel roundwounds should give you a good bright slap sound
