Old dimarzio model G’s fit great, however if you want a mean ass tone put a Bartolini MMC in there and wow! You’ll have to cut the pickgaurd for hah one. It’s worth it

It’s the bass for sure. You also need to be proficient in playing with a pick, new strings and you’re all set.

it’s the Kramer 250b with the replacement pickup.... do you know what that is? get both of those and it’ll sound just like it. Know cause I own one or two ;)

Hey All, On a G3 bass are the pickups different or are they all the same? Is the middle pickup Reverse? I can't find an answer for sure. What would happen if I put a red/orange/white pickup in the neck position?
