What is the proper way to adjust the neck tilt? Do you have to loosen any of the screws before adjusting?

For the last 7 years I have searched for an EUB with an Ampeg sound, and went through almost all of the basses mentioned in this thread except MOG and Ramirez. I bought a Sendel but found it was too far away from the Ampeg sound. I sold it and bought a KK Baby bass — same thing. Sold it to buy...

Fender American Ultra Precision Bass

I own the Azola Ampeg upright that Matt Mally (from Counting Crows) used on their tours. I really do love it not only for its sound but it’s history.

If it happens again, you should take a couple fiber pills with your coffee in the morning of the day you’re scheduled to perform. That will clean out any clogs in your plumbing — and you’ll also be pretty light on your feet. Better safe than sorry if that’s your recurring issue.

A Fender American Ultra Precision Bass. And you are right, it doesn’t come in passive. The performer P Bass has Yosemite pickups which I do not like. I want the authentic Fender P bass sound with the extra Jazz bass pickup. It’s like having the P and Jazz bass in one.

The bass I wanted (P and Jazz Bass pickups) only comes in active/passive, and I like the passive sound (Fender American Ultra Precision Bass). I tried the fender performer PJ bass (P and jazz bass pickups) but it had Yosemite pickups which I do not like.
