Can you bypass the selector and go straight to the screw terminals on the East preamp? I have a Norstrand MM5.2 connected this way right now to an East MMSR 3 Band Preamp, and I have zero noise. I only had to connect the one green wire that came connected to the jack to my ground network...

It’s the being “a bit inventive with the holes” part and how everything looks with three knobs that I’m interested in. It’s not a big deal either way, but I thought it would be interesting.

I just got a chance to weigh the bass. It comes in at 9.33 pounds. My Stingray5 comes in at 10.9 pounds as a comparison.

When you replaced the SWB-1 active bass stock pickups with EMG, what all did you have to do? Curious because I’m contemplating the same potentially...but I am hoping I won’t feel the need. Haven’t received mine yet. Thanks!
