Hi Wolfort, I´m sorry, I don´t remember any metal cylinders. The metal logos always have been "only" stickers. For basses with a natural finish we used the fingerboard dot inlays as a logo on the body. That was black on simple ash and alder bodies and abalone on rarewood tops. Best, Mike
