Sterling by Music Man SUB Ray4 and Ray5, Part 2

Yes. Pretty common, as stock was very high. Typical with most companies to have a "transitional" year where older styles are still plentiful while new styles/graphics are being rolled out. PM me a picture of the front of the instrument and the serial number plate and I can tell you when and...

The one on the right, with the classic "Sting Ray" graphic look, went into production in December 2017.

Yes, I'm on here now and then just to set the record straight and cut down on conjecture and misinformation :) Started working for Cordoba Music Group in June of last year, so now I'm involved with Guild and Cordoba guitars, basses and ukes.

Did you follow my tutorial with pictures? If the wire colors don't match the colors, just follow my tutorial and you'll be good to go.

Check the battery box and see if it is direct wired to the PCB, or if there is a component soldered into place.

Since the saddles are so far out on the screws, I’d recommend using light duty loctite, and also use it on your height adjustment screws. The knockoff bridges are notoriously mis-machined and will vibrate their way loose, inadvertently lowering your action.

That bridge is installed too far back IMHO

I don’t like the new logo, and was against it. Way too Fender, ala Squire and all of the smoke and mirrors that follows with it. Sorry, I’m far too transparent and honest. Always been. For Branding, to me, the clothes do not make the man, even when you dress to the nines. Own what you are...

It’s not illegal to use, but it’s a pain in the ass for all the documentation.
