Ashdown MAG300. In 2008 we did a short run with Deicide in Italy, I only to my Tony Franklin Jazz bass, a compressor and a DI. The amp was so bad on stage that I ran DI only for the rest of the shows. Strange as I've heard some of their amps that sound good.

+1 on just using a Warmoth neck (do some research on how much a good defretting job costs vs a neck and also if you really want a rosewood fretless sound vs ebony, I'd try a Tony Franklin sig bass to decide), I did the same on this 4 string jazz which was actually my first ever endorsement bass...
