    SOLD FBass

For those that want to hear someone else play this - here's a vid from a couple weeks ago at my place. So here is my buddy and killer guitarist/bassist/songwriter "Landphil" from Municipal Waste/Iron Reagan slapping on this bass. Setup for the vid is pickups are blended equal, volume up all the...

What's the best steal on a PBass (or copy) you have gotten?

+1 for a Squire Vintage Modified. Take the money you save and get a high-mass bridge of your choice, a passive pickup like the Aguilar H or the split coil Barts, add an obp-1 with a passive circuit, or the EMG package, whatever floats your split pickup boat, then bring it to your guitar repair...

No Takers? Really, such a beautiful bass and especially the price! (which I still don't understand!). If only I it was the color I asked for :/ FYI I'll be in the Austin Texas area next Saturday night and for the MotoGP race on Sunday. I have no issue carrying it on, and having someone meet up...

    Worst amp you played through

Ashdown MAG300. In 2008 we did a short run with Deicide in Italy, I only to my Tony Franklin Jazz bass, a compressor and a DI. The amp was so bad on stage that I ran DI only for the rest of the shows. Strange as I've heard some of their amps that sound good.

Poll: Where do buy your online gear from? (Edited, multiple votes now!)

I didn't see Bass Central on there? But for anything non-bass, especially software - jrrshop.com!

    SOLD FBass

I used it on this, one of the few I played fretted, last minute thing, needed something fretted, to tune to Drop B, add Overdrive and not over play. This is a TH DI and Aggro pedal into a ISA, fingerstyle with this bass, 1.30tw Fender strings set, and was done in an evening after work on 2 hours...

    SOLD FBass

I am willing to take it to the ups store, as long as the buyer pays ups directly to package and ship. Insurance i would suggest a minimum of $3800. For international, same thing but make sure you have a clearing house setup to receive for you.

MIA Fender Jazz - Defret or not?

+1 on just using a Warmoth neck (do some research on how much a good defretting job costs vs a neck and also if you really want a rosewood fretless sound vs ebony, I'd try a Tony Franklin sig bass to decide), I did the same on this 4 string jazz which was actually my first ever endorsement bass...

    POLL: Most "Preferred" Compressor pedal

Only 2 in my book, the Aguilar TLC and EBS MultiComp. Not sure why neither are on this list?

Showed up to recording session without a Fender...

Lol rgr that! Working on the last Resurrection EP before the full release years back, I brought my MTD535, and my American Jazz V to Redroom. The engineer said "Wow that Tobias is beautiful!...If you could please just put that back in your car that would be great...we're taking your Fender and...

    Aguilar - Official 'Tone Hammer 500' 3.8lbs 500w Megathread!

I actually wish I had a GS115 to a/b with it, but they stopped production of them before I moved to them from SWR. The DB115's are actually tighter in the lows though mid-mid's but less "deep" than the GS112. If you prefer a sound with slight midscoop, and crazy lows and good highs, the GS112's...
