Fender Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Steve Harris Precision Bass

People are definitely welcome to their opinions, but there’s no doubt in my mind that wood makes a difference. I have the same pick ups in both my Japanese and Mexican bases and they are miles apart in tone. Anyway, I don’t want to ignite this old argument again ha ha.

Fender Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Steve Harris Precision Bass

As big of a fan as I am, I can't see me purchasing one of these. Curious whether SH will play one on this tour, although I highly doubt it. I had my white West Ham bass painted blue sparkle a while back - my favorite SH bass by far. I have the CIJ blue one too, but the tone of the maple bass is...

Squier II Precision authenticity? Please help me settle debate with seller.

There was a USA-made squier strat guitar from way back...not sure about precisions though.

    IEM

Another vote for the KZ's - bought some off Amazon specifically for an IEM fill-in gig a few months back and they were great. Definitely a step up from the 215's I used years ago.

    price check! 1976 Ibanez Ripper

Well, this is certainly not accurate and may not be representative of the Rippers value, but for the RS924 (larger sample size), looking at Reverb's sale price history both Pre and Post COVID pricing: looks like a 33% increase in selling price for the Roadster. Average selling price of $760...

    Real deal or fake Fender?

I love them too for whatever reason, maybe because I'm a lefty playing a right handed bass (not really, but why not throw that into the mix), plus I think they look great

    Real deal or fake Fender?

And yes, they are vintage (reissue) reverse gear tuners. Everything about that headstock looks correct as one of the vintage reissue (made in America) series basses.

MM style humbuckers with no exposed poles?

Had one of these in a Wilcock bass I had recently. Sounded pretty good to me, although it was a short scale and the pickup sat closer to the P position so can’t compare directly to a traditional MM / stingray. Invalid Link Removed

Shipping to Canada. Please educate me.

Personally, I've never had any issues either shipping or receiving basses to/from the US. Probably have done this 20+ times now. I find it all pretty simple and straightforward through the postal services. Seems pretty seamless to me anyway. I pay on average about $135 CDN to ship to the US, so...
