    Orange Bass terror Tubes

I added an electroharmix Knock Out preamp to my Terror bass setup and it adds the punch and drive I wanted. I use it very moderately. You wouldn't even know it was there, until you switch it out, and then the amp sound a little flat. It adds some pluck to the low end and some shine to the highs.

I am running an Orange Terror Bass head into a couple of the new Ampeg Portaflex cabinets. The top of the cabinets, being flip tops, vibrate when I play. I have a couple concerns, one is harmonic vibration with the tubes in the head. Am I worrying about something needlessly? The other thing...

Value of a Fender American Vintage 59 re-issue

A fellow wants to trade me a mid-80s Fender P-Bass American Vintage '59 re-issue for my 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium. I paid $2500 for the Les Paul. What is the value of the P-Bass. The condition is good, played a few nicks with an orange color (P-Bass).
