okay awesome! the hartke is switchable but I may go for the 2x12... probably to much power for the 1x12

also noticed the orange obc210, that paired with my obc410 would make 4 ohms and a 6x10 with the capability of using either for smaller gigs... Once again, appreciate the feedback here!

The amp I have is quite nice, am looking for a bit more low end, which is why I first looked at the 610hlf In the larger venues I am finding it hard to hear myself without the volume getting to 3 o'clock.

All gigs are with PA support and they vary from pub gigs to 650 cap venues and definitely open to other brands. am just looking to get 4 ohms out of my head. currently have a orange obc410 (8ohm), just looking at other options. Thanks for the replies so far!

would it damage the amp at all running the rbi through the effects loop? being a pre amp and overdrive (havent had much experience with running effects loops)

Also just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on how to run the rbi with the 7pro? was thinking either running the sbi into the input or the effects loop (want to be able to use both sets of eq) and the 7pro has a fx blend which makes me think i should go with the effects loop? (also means i...

yeah thought it sounded great :), haven't had a long time to mess with it, although i do like an overdriven tone :D but i did like the gain around 2 Oclock also, that is where it is set atm

Any thoughts on the passive and active pickups question? how does the svt7pro sound with each type of pickup?

I have friend who have ampeg and have had no issues with there customer service, all going well, i hope that the svt7pro holds up and I never have to worry about CS :) one last thing I am interested In is how the 7pro goes with both passive and active basses?

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I will definitely have a look at the genz Benz in the new year when I go to buy the head, although I am pretty sure I will go for the ampeg, as I am running the sansamp RBI as well. Also wouldn't 2 sets of eq and the rbi be major overkill if I went for the genz...
