I was driving along US 78 years ago - somewhere in the emptiness of Alabama between Birmingham and Memphis, TN. While passing under an overpass I noticed that the road we were passing under was called Scufflegrit Road. I thought it was an interesting name and have used it in various forums since.

I've been using the DSM Humboldt Simplifier Bass Master with my 5HH and really like it. It's all analog, versatile, and can go clean, dirty, or a blend of both. If you don't like a lot of knobs and switches in a small package though then it's probably not for you.

I've got a 2014 EB 4 string. It was my first bass and my only bass until 2 years ago when I got a 5HH Stingray Special. The EB has been excellent. If it was a 5 string it might still be my only bass.

I can't imagine that it would be comfortable to play, but I kind of like how it looks. There probably a reason it's around 20 years old and looks like it's never hardly been let out of the case.

If you like Songsterr, maybe give Ultimate Guitar a try. It is similar but gives you the option of tab, standard notation, or both.

Similar story: I got a set of BEEDG Cobalt flats from Amazon a year and a half ago. Figured it was fluke, processed an exchange, and the replacement set had the same issue. On mine, the envelopes said 80, but there were really 100s so I didn't catch the issue until the string didn't fit in...
