    Master Volume Question.

Thanks. Will probably try and pickup a used Tech 21 VT unit at some point and ABY it into both small combo's power amp in jacks.

    Master Volume Question.

I currently play live with a small 1x12 combo (always with my band's pa support). I use an svt type clone pedal straight into the 1x12 power in, using the 1x12 combo's master dial to control volume. For bigger gigs or more stage volume, I'm dragging out a heavy head and silly heavy 1x15 cab, and...

    POOR BRIDGE-NECK ALIGNMENT ?

Yeah the pickup thing never worried me too much. When I bought it I removed the J pu and replaced the P and put new strings on. I do remember noticing the strings passing over the pickups incorrectly, but don't recall them stitting out of position on the fingerboard. I got it for cheap from a...

    POOR BRIDGE-NECK ALIGNMENT ?

Thanks for the pic. Going to try and relocate the original bridge as mine is clearly quite a way off. Hipshot looks nice.

    POOR BRIDGE-NECK ALIGNMENT ?

I'm going to do what @Grinderman suggested and take it from there. Will probably keep the original bridge and see how it goes. I'm ok with drilling, set up, etc, just not really keen on filling holes, but I have someone who can help me do that properly. I will probably hold on to this instrument...

    POOR BRIDGE-NECK ALIGNMENT ?

Would never had thought of that. Looking online at the usual suspects, knurled saddles are about 6-8 quid each here in the UK, unless I'm looking in the wrong places. It's actually cheaper to buy a new bridge with knurled, threaded or ridged saddles already fitted from Thomman, WD music or a...

    POOR BRIDGE-NECK ALIGNMENT ?

Found a seller on Ebay with plenty of vintage style bridges. Bridge I have now is the stock Squier, nothing wrong with it, but looks as if the plate won't cover the old holes-like you said take it out and check, so will do that first. If no good, then will probably get the one below for a...

    POOR BRIDGE-NECK ALIGNMENT ?

Thanks. Probably going to end up trying this first, I'm looking at vintage style bridges and have found a couple that look to have enough plate below the holes to cover the old ones. Plan B is fill and redrill. Thanks for all the help.

    POOR BRIDGE-NECK ALIGNMENT ?

Just had a look, that would work. Wonder if there are any a bit cheaper with similar features.

    POOR BRIDGE-NECK ALIGNMENT ?

Thanks guys, I just did and it's much better. Still not properly aligned, but I'm going to live with it. Been looking at pics of the same model and the bridge is definitely mounted a bit too low. Thanks again.

    POOR BRIDGE-NECK ALIGNMENT ?

Kind of a strange question, but does anyone make a bridge for a P-J bass with the mounting screws in a different position from the 'universal' standard? Guess I could mount a new one lower on the body, but that can't be good for the overall set-up. I have a Squier P-bass which has strings that...

    Efficient 15 speaker ?

Just an update.. I managed to pick up an Ashdown Tone Man ? (very little web info,Thomman -ashdown thing) 2x12 for a bargain. Noticeable improvement with the 2 cabs.. I'm able to turn the volume to 5 ish and get to where I want to be volume-wise, the amp starts to break up around 6. So happy...

    Efficient 15 speaker ?

Thanks for all the advice.. I'm going to try picking up another used Ashdown 15 and give it a go with the 2 cabs.
