    Hey all! Just wondering on the metal side for you guys that play fretless or even jazz fusion style Do you guys use flats for your basses? Or risk the chewing of the fretboard and use rounds or stainless steels? Do flats cut through the mix well enough or is that more of an EQ thing?

    I'm a youth counselor and I work as an amateur astrophysicist until I get my degree I make meh money but I save every extra cent to shuffle gear around Keep in mind the law of diminishing returns and keeping the value in the gear you buy should you ever decide to hustle it

    I find the heel on the neck coupled with the body contour helps it sit a lot easier I'm sortve a big guy so anything smaller feels like a toy As far as strings I just always went Ernie ball slinky regular set or super slinks which are 100-45

    Well if you're like me and hate Ibanez fretless basses for some reason Then carvin is always a great place to look Ltd makes a decent one I personally have an American Special Precision bass body I just bought a fretless neck off of all parts And it's my favorite I've ever played
