might remember me a while back for the aria pro 2 that i glittered up put in a guild pickup then sold cheap......... also my lovely dots..... anyway got my new gretsch short scale cheapie...and went to town on a new look.......so far it's just paper and cut up malwart placemats.........but...

my camera sucks butts....but here's a quick picture of my pickguard design.. gonna use aqua blu flame drum wrap for it...

you're right about the peaveys..they are slabs....but too heavy and bulky for me and the necks are wider than i like.....good call on the durability though

thanxs guys,the hofners have thickness in my palm like a small baseball bat which is ok.........but not across the fretboard which makes stretching necessary..that's what i like to avoid...so i kinda like em...i've had a few ibanez and they just seem very generic sounding..do any pro's endorse...
