I'm using the Pahoehoe blacks, but I'm curious now about the reds. Do you have a 23" and could you send a link to the reds you bought? Ty.

No, not loose. And yes, all of the above, haha! Also, the PU is an acoustic guitar PU. My repair guy seems to think that might be adding to the problems. Thanks for the reply.

How are they working? It's $50 U.S. to get them shipped to Canada. The stores here don't stock them.

Did you end up trying these? The Pahoehoes I switched to are also sensitive to stretching and nicking. Still having intonation problems with these strings.

I did, in the end, switch out my pre-amp for one of these Joyo's. I'm having problems now with the pick-up. The piece of metal got bowed some how and it wasn't contacting all the strings so they went dead. My repair guy gingerly bent it back, but I live in fear that it's going to blow out again...
