The current RNDI is powered by phantom. Doesn't seem to be an issue for those who like it. Full disclosure... I use a Noble but there are plenty of players who love their RNDI. The new RNDI-M appears to be the same exact circuit as the RNDI but smaller for mounting on a pedalboard.

I just played there a few weeks ago with Sean Feucht. Hadn't been there since I played there 15 years previously. They've done some lovely updates to the interior.

The issue seems to have gone away on its own. 🤷‍♂️ I am using a CS6 but it might have been a venue power issue. For me, the cali76 is a tone enhancer and not a game ender if I have to shut it off due to the noise issue if it ever comes back.

I run it with the Gain at 100%, Limiter around 9 o'clock, and Boost at unity or maybe a little higher. Its pretty nasty sounding (in a good way). :)

I run the Bass-X with the gain cranked and it sounds awesome for those big moments in songs for when I want to go bigger but don't want to use the microsynth. It's very much a drive/distortion (with all the bottom end) when the gain is cranked.

The Bass-X sounds awesome stacked with the TH. :)
