    NBD: BC Rich Ironbird

I'm trying out a few different things. The most successful (and drastic) is I've taped an ancle weight (1kg) to the back/right side of the strap. That solves most of the problem, even if it looks a bit daft. I also ordered a 9,5 cm wide and grippy strap. I'll definitely get some lighter tuners...

    NBD: BC Rich Ironbird

Will definitely try that out as well! I move around a lot and lift my bass up while playing plus a lot of other silly moves, so the best solution for me is to have it hanging freely. I will! I definitely hasn't come to a retirement home.

    NBD: BC Rich Ironbird

A couple of days ago I received this Ironbird in great condition. It's an IB-657, which I've only found in the 1992 catalog. It arrived with the original tag and synthetic leather bag. It plays great, electronics are clean and the neck is straight and nice. I will probably gig with it already...

Chinese made BC Rich Warlock NT any good?

It's a neckthrough, ebony fretboard. I'm not expecting it to be a high grade instrument, but will it be decent and servicable?

Here's Senna. Loves to snuggle with my guitars. The pointier, the better.

    Formula 1/F1/Formula One

I agree with Max as well. I fear that Domenicali will do everything he can to squeeze every dollar out if the sport by adding as many races as possible (both sprint and new events). If you're alienating the drivers themselves, not to mention engineers and other trackside workers, you're not...

    Looking for a 35" 4 string

My budget isn't really set. I'm not in a rush, and an aquisition would be for long term use. I'd only pay more than $2000 if it was a custom shop, or like an ESP. I've considered the Solar, actually. I'm kind of hoping that they'll release a few other colour/finish variants. I think their...

    Looking for a 35" 4 string

Good suggestion! I don't love the way it looks, though. I've read through the thread, lots of good mentions. Peavey Cirrus is one of my main contenders. If a USA one shows up on the Norwegian used market cheap enough I might strike. Anyone here have experience with the cheaper Asian models...

    Looking for a 35" 4 string

I know, I just haven't gotten used to the way they look yet. I also don't really like most Dingwall body shapes, except for the D Roc, which seems to have cheapest looking pau ferro I've ever seen. A 4 string D Roc with dark rosewood or ebony would definitely interesting.

    Looking for a 35" 4 string

Hi! New member here. I play in a hardcore band, and we tune down to drop C. My current bass is an Ibanez RD808. It looks gorgeous and it plays great. I prefer using as thin strings as possible, and currently I'm using a 50-110 set. It works well enough, but I'd like to have an extra inch of...
