The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Spending the day cleaning out the office. Had to make room for the new addition.
The orange 5 string, assembled by my very good friend. His company name is Mad Man Music.
He's actually worked on all my basses to some degree even though he's 600 miles away.
The first two are complete builds by him.
I love his use of old coins for string retainers. The Orange 5 string has a nickel from 1909. Leo Fenders birth year

Fun little bass. The neck pickup soloed is a thing of beauty. The bridge pickup gives it more hair.

Just got this, and wrapped it. $15 bucks for the wrap… and it comes off clean if I wanna remove it. Also just gave my 1970 Rick a Spa day with setup and such..

My first 5 string bass arrived today. It started off looking at a satin black Sire 5 string bass but I decided to hold out in case I found something better within the same price range and I found exactly that last Wednesday when I ran across a listing for this Westone Pantera X775 bass.
