It might be an illusion, but that neck looks to be about a 42" scale length!
It really does. I’ve never tried that neck design and I wonder if I’d like it. Around here I would have to buy one to do so, meaning I probably never will.

It's a Fender Player body with a Warmoth next that was professionally converted to fretless by the previous owner. Strung with black Labella tapes.

Beautiful grain-figuring on the neck! I have a bass with similar neck grain - I dig it! Mine's interrupted by a skunk-strip.

Eight months in and it's time for the first string change.
I still like my new V5 a lot. I think I like the B string actually better than my 2012 and 2016 G&L USA L2500s.
It's not "bigger", just more "focused".
I definitely prefer the 18mm string spacing.
