Taking a beautiful 60s carved juzek 1/2 for a test drive thoughts ? Feels nice seams bright compared to my 3/4 UB standard ply. Hardly played what's a good price.

Much more then change strings on a upright and a pro. gets the nod not a bad thing to get a check up on them now and then and it keeps you in good terms with your luther

Most of the places we play lately are like this in Vermont getting an audience that will listen is all we ask I would still rather do the restaurant thing then the bar deals ,as a drummer too I like getting home by 11;30 not 4:30 like the old days .

Strictly upright frets give me fits . LOL I started on a upright . I am a 40 year drummer who took up bass 9 years ago so yes I have a slap style . but not as much with my 1/4 kay. As the action is set a little low for that. For slap gigs I bring a 3/4 so I can dance with it for the rockin tunes

I play one allot with a good pick up you are all set finding good strings is a little hard I find setting down on a tall seat make you a little more intimate with it and rest of the band .
