I wrote to Traynor about the TC810 sensitivity. I was told average 95 to 98B@1W@1m, while the TC15 Neo 97db. My old Aguilar GS112 stack was 98db at 4 ohms. Seems hard to believe that the fridge will not play louder than my 2x112 cabs. With these spec a pair of the Traynor 115 would be louder...

I was in the same kind of situation and when I asked to have my bass back they told me it was not possible because it was disassembled... It was when I asked for pictures that things started to move. Best of luck to all of you waiting !

Just received my P5R... and I have some problems unfortunately : Big hum when I touch the pickup... anyone had that problem with a P5 ? Base noise is ok when I touch nothing, not silent but ok.If I touch just the pickup, the hum gets louder ! Goes silent when I touch the strings. Bad buzz on...

Lot of tube amps, especially lower wattage ones, have a bit of bloom, sag... which is not DB751 style IMHO. I think you will have more luck with solid-state amps ! Good luck with your search :bassist:

Aguilar DB751 is not a tube amp, only the preamp has tubes. The authority of the (solid-state) power amp has a lot to do with the feel of the amp, even at low volume, IMHO. That being said, TH500 - TH700 will give DB751-style sound.

Opinion about the pickup ? Mine should arrive next week (natural finish too!) :bassist:

Sorry for you !! You could give them a summary of the multiple deadlines not respected and that you want a picture of the actual state of your bass (and insist about a picture!). It is possible to remain polite while being firm... Best of luck !

Speaking from personal experience, "ready next week" means nothing from Zon. It can be true, but you can also wait months... you will know when you'll have your bass back. Zon don't have a Plek machine.. where will the work be done ? Plek Repairshops - Plek Best of luck !
