I was 14 in 1984 when I found a off-branded Cort X bass @ a Sears outlet store for 69 bucks. Played the hell out of it til the mid nineties when my guitarist bandmate sold me a G&L L2000 - he didn't want that Cort seen on the same stage as him! So yeah - I've been playing 28 years by the math.
