I wouldn't think a 2x12 would absolutely need a stand but it wouldn't hurt to try one, You may hear yourself better and like it. IMO if doesn't affect your vibe, lower stage volume is better for everyone

Great list ! we use the Radial stuff exclusively for live it's also great in the studio _ get the Jenson "J" versions. We also use a vintage Yamaha PB-1 and love it.

Believe it or not- look at the Behringer x32. I would have never recommended anything from this company before this board but the guys from Midas are involved and it's a sweet little board. It's been out long enough to have a good record and thE x32 gets a lot of love over in the prosound forum...

+1 I've had this in many riders. at a minimum - communicate, don't assume they're saving you're sound check.. there's no excuse for this with digital boards.

The best way to get CLEAN LF into the house is via DI. it's the nature if the beast. With a typical 4 piece rock band I high-pass everything except Kick and maybe Bass. This really cleans up the mud, cuts down on mics picking up other LF stage sounds and helps eliminate dreaded stage rumble...
