It's mainly reliability issues with the PF500. I originally looked into getting the BH500 before buying the PF500 so it's something that I'm considering. I might use the PF500 for casual home practice and the BH500 with the band.

Gutted today - My PF500 died on me during band practice. It had been playing up ever so slightly but nothing that really concerned to point of retiring it until I had a replacement. However today it had numerous cut outs and then died completely (fault light came on by it failing to power up...

My PF500 totally died on me today so I'm looking for a replacement Head to go with the Portaflex cabs I own. I'm thinking getting a BH500 as replacement whilst my PF500 will be used as a back-up. Any advice?

Great stuff! It's certainly not something I'm going to buy soon but I'm just pricing up everything for SVT Pro and the 410. Not as expensive as I was expecting.

Correct me if I'm wrong, (probably quite likely) Now if I were to buy an Ampeg SVT Pro 7 bass amp and then daisy chain 2 SVT 410HE's would that set-up work? I believe the SVT 410 can handle 500 watts and rated at 8ohms and the 7 Pro is rated at 1000 watts at 4 ohm and 600 watts at 8 ohms...

What do people think of them? I'm looking to possibly buy one soon. I already own the Squire vintage modified P Bass so was thinking about adding the Jazz bass to my much needed collection - The Squire P bass is pretty much only workhorse and I do need a reasonable alternative.

I am thinking about buying a Reverb pedal to be added to the my setup and as I'm using a EHX delay I thought that a nice Reverb will hopefully compliment the tone in the chain. Any advice on how to get the most out this type of pedal in a stoner rock type bass rig? I'm using primarily EHX...

Yeah I though the second cab would help with headroom and subsequently volume. My band is very much into having the bass as a prominent element to our sound so this will prob help. Gonna be interesting trying it out next week.:)

That's cool, I was initially tempted with a another 115, but found a wicked deal for the 210 which most def tipped the balance. I like the sound of it tone wise because I'm in a standard 4 piece band so need a slightly more punchy sound live otherwise I'm drowned out or too thin on the ground...
