Just got my second 115 today. Damn my ears are ringing. It gets plenty loud for me and what I am gonna do with it. I cranked it up and the head preformed perfectly and didn't seem lacking in power. So maybe I got a "good one" I'll let yall know if I have any problems.

Bought one of these to get some covers made for my PF's by a neighbor.

Mine, that I got used, seems fine as well. Loving the sound alright! Even with a home-modded 210 combo-turned cab.

Hey 96, I'm waiting to see what happens to that moving pad...

Nyce! What cab(s)?

Thanks!

Traynor tc-112 BUT with an Eminence 2512 II neo.... REALLY nice mid forward tone but solid down to fundamental of my B string. Mid control on the amp with this cab goes from scooped but totally usable Stingray tone to classic vintage SVT mids a little past noon... To jaco city with it cranked.

8 ohm driver so room to add another cab in the future.

I'm assuming these amps can't drive (or don't benefit from driving) 2 ohm loads?

Cheers

Gutted today - My PF500 died on me during band practice. It had been playing up ever so slightly but nothing that really concerned to point of retiring it until I had a replacement. However today it had numerous cut outs and then died completely (fault light came on by it failing to power up again when I turned it on)

Just under 5 months of use and it's dead

350 just packed it in at rehearsal. Smells like burning electronics. My second to burn up. The first after about ten minutes, this one lasted a couple months. Now I've gotta do the warranty bs again. Cranky.

As cool as the PF amps sound, if two died on me there wouldn't be a third time. I'd be moving on.

Never had an issue with the PF500 I had but traded it in cause I just liked the Genz Benz sound better.

Honestly can't believe that after all this time Ampeg hasn't got this issue sorted out yet.
