If they had been poopy to you or done something horrible then no texting would be fine. But since that is not the case just man up and call them and tell them the truth. After four years you owe them that.

I think SBL offers that too. There is a good flow of instruction from never touching a bass before to more advanced. The player's path really helps with that. I am learning a lot and so far am very satisfied with SBL.

Joe Walsh was very big in this area long before he joined the Eagles. He went to Kent State University and played all the local clubs.

My P7 neck has an ebony fretboard but the back is just as yours is, silky smooth and matte/satin. If I didn't know better I'd say there was little to no finish at all. Of course, there is. But it feels great. Better than any 6 string neck I've felt. Now, I just need to learn how to play it lol...

I am a very happy guy today. My Sire P7 arrived and I am thrilled. I purchased it as "open box" and that knocked a significant amount off the price. Musicians Friend's listing said it had been returned and may have small scratches or blemishes that wouldn't affect playability. I checked it over...

I loved the band America. Grew up listening to Ventura Highway and Horse with no name. Great songs and a great band. Everyone in that band could play. The live videos on Youtube really illustrate how talented they all were.

Indeed, you have to stretch strings. On a six-string, you really have to give them a lot of tugs and tunes when you change them. Yank on them pretty good, then tune, then do it again. Even then it may go out of tune a little for the first day or so. I presume it is the same with a bass...
