My amp has a 3 band, as does my DI/Preamp. I'm pretty happy with that setup. Although in the 90s I played through a 12 band Trace Elliot. Today that just seems like so much work to me. What about you? What do you use/prefer?

You were driving 35 miles to play with that douche bag? He did you a favor. If you can, play with as many acts as will have you. Go to clubs and open jams. Build that network. There's lots of work with lots of good people for someone with as much dedication and heart as you.
