Fender Flea Road Worn Jazz Bass Club

Thank you - I think it looks much more punkish now :D Stickers: through Ebay seller "oldskoolrelicscustomshop" who makes them on demand (He even sold me the "the Helmets" one for my Flea Active Jazz bass) - screws: surfed the net for the "fender bass mute kit" instruction, downloaded the...

Fender Flea Road Worn Jazz Bass Club

I just did some serious modding on mine and the bass feels so much smoother to play now, it`s lighter and the sound is just spot on like what we hear on the Stadium Arcadium... ...or am I just experiencing a placebo effect with them two stickers and the brass grounding on there....;)

I'm not seeing a lot of love for les paul basses

I recently got a hold of an Epi LP Bass (2004 model from Saein Factory in Chorea) .. Easily described in the words of JB: "so nice -- so nice -- I feel good". The sound was tight and bigger than the old Fender P`s and J`s I used to have and the size suits my not-so-large body perfectly. After...

Decision time: BG250-112 or GK MB1100 or Promethean 3110

You can`t go wrong with the TC Electronic BG250 series - they`re very light, extremely easy to dial in your tone and when adding the dual TonePrint effect (only one wo the pedal) you have a winner. My fav TonePrints are Octave and Chorus... But then again, my main rig is a TC RH450 with a RS 210...

Wireless system - low strings question

Lots of opinions here, thnx! I went with the Line6 G30, Fulltone patchcables and a sock over the transmitter (to keep it from falling of the strap, that is) Besides, It IS live situations we're talking about and with the bass going through the PA, the only one noticing any difference between...

Wireless system - low strings question

I`m just talking string frequencies and how the cutoff lows will interfere with the normal "below 40 Hz" rumble

Wireless system - low strings question

Yes, this is a thoughtful in its own, but.. still.. when all that is taken care of and of no more worry, will the Low D sound like it comes out of a old analog Telephone speaker?

Wireless system - low strings question

Hi, I`m thinking of getting myself an wireless system. The as-of-now favored system, stops at 40 Hz as the lowest transmitted freq.. I found somewhere on the Internet that the D uses appr. 35 Hz, sooooooo.... Q: How will the Wireless (in this case a Sennheiser EW100 G2) affect the sound...

TC electronic bass head & cabs - any good?

I started out with the BH500 which introduced me to the TC sound. After some A/B:ing and test of the sexy TonePrint feature I got me a BH250 with a RS112 cabinet.. and if it hadn`t been for my good friend mr. Showoff and his RH450 guestapperance on late night rehearsel I would have been...

Sadowsky Metro or Keep my AM Jazz Special?

Just a small note in favour the Sad. I bought a used Metro - from 2004, was of course sceptic if it was an authentic Sadowsky cause they started the Metro Line that year. There were also a question of the stringheight which was waaaaaaay off on this guitar. So, I mailed the support at Sadowsky...

Sadowsky Metro or Keep my AM Jazz Special?

I second what burk says! I have been rushing through all kinds of basses and amplifiers for my "dreamsound" but never got around to test a Sadowsky (they're very rare in Norway it seems) When I finally found one at a reasonable price (last year), I already had found my sound with a Fender...
