In my experience, the less of your sound controlled by the soundguy, the better. Just use a mixer to get a sound you like, and send it through one DI. That way you know how it sounds and can control it.

Seymour Duncan makes a cool DI box with a switchable EQ and a Slap Contour. Could be hit or miss, but worth looking into.

Put all your effects on a shelf. If you practice a song that needs an effect, grab that one or the very few and throw them on a small board for the next rehearsal or gig. Then you at least have them when you need them.

That Hartke is not an overdrive, it is an EQ and tube amp emulator. I love my Hartke and my Digitech bass chorus to death, both are fantastic deals. The Hartke is very underpriced....

I believe she has that as an item wanted as a trade, not something offered.

Might I ask what history is on these? Scrapped for parts?
