What are the differences in the strings and why do you hate the Rumblers/love the Pahoehoes?

I agree, I may be heading in this direction, but without the door, the ubass is even quieter while unplugged. Not that it matters that much, but I mostly noodle alone unplugged.

Thanks for the velcro suggestion, but the door barely sits flush with the back of the bass. Are your doors exactly flush?
