Hi guys, I live in R.I. I was just beginning to get the hang of my upright when i went downstairs and discovered that it fell over andthe neck broke off of the body. There is still a piece hanging on, but the magority of the neck just above where it meets the body is badly cracked...

Hate to be this guy, but I own a Hartke XL 810 and the aluminum cones give me the clarity and cut through I need when playing a louder gig, not to mention they're pretty cheap.

Yea I know...Actually it was his idea, he went and bought the thing and now automatically expects me to abandon my stage gear, plus I play with a deep sound, i just don't understand how that little system can handle it at loud volumes.

A bass player's sound is something thay have worked for years to create, and it is this reason, that i am proud of my rig. My band recently discussed not bringing any amps, but instead all playing through our "Bose pole" and sub PA system, i am the only one to dissagree with the move, does...

I would be biamping if that was the case but i'm almost positive i'mgonna get the 410's This just prove's the guys that hate 10's wrong, the fact is, 10's are more versatile than any other.

I went to a music store to trade my peavey 810 for a Hartke 410 and 115.... I wanted to add the 15" thinking it would add more bottom to my sound, but the guy explained to me that..." 410's move more air than 115's and 118's, is this just a myth or proven true?

That guy must have been pissed, and im assuming he didn't just say that "you sucked" on the phone.....lol

Just wondering, looked into Basson cabs and they look good and have unbelievable specs, but one question, does anyone other than Nikki Sixx use these monsters? They are in no stores around my area therefore have no rep.

Haha, i've done this before when re-wiring my 410, I found out by puting a 9v battery to my cable and watched the top two speakers go out and the bottoms go in.
