I was searching for some overview about strings and conventions of use. Unfortunately, I never found any adequate musician —and mainly— bass forums in my country Hungary, that's why I decided to register some international forum. So I googled for bass forum, and it was the first that I found.

I like nickel strings, using D'Addario EXL-165-5 currently, but I'm looking for some more lasting strings, Elixir for example.
