    OK, but i think the woods and the neck feeling make the differences. for example, if you have an American Standard Jazz bass and a Jazz made in mexico, and you put the USA Fender pickups to the mexico's Jazz, the last will not sound like an original made in USA...similar ok, but NOT same...

    the price is wrote in the middle of page 2 of the thread..between 2.300-2.600 euro, (without custom options). it's a great price for me!! for example, about 2.000 euro less than the 4.000 euro for a Noah Bass aluminium instrument.

    G&L versus Fender questions

    Because the Fender is the "history" of Electric Basses..and have a "Name". Most musiciants are traditionals, and prefers Fender basses, like a Jazz and Precision, that have made the story of the music in 50 years.. But, for me, g&L made bests instruments than a Fender!!
