    I haven't played either but I own a Thunderverb 200 and it's nice and raunchy and mean. Nothing like an ampeg, it gets dirty very early, but if you want a biting overdriven growl it has the punch of the ad200b and then a whole other, dirtier, scoupable channel.

    this has a crazy frequency range they call it ETR it goes really low....down to 33hz which is nice and low even for bass overtones. the speakers are what you really need to be careful with.

    Acoustic 600 head and 8x10 cab, $999 MSRP?

    i have the b410 and the b115 and they sounded great through the b200h. my main problem with the b200 was that it wasnt loud enough, other than that, the sound was great. i assume the b600h would be louder....so problem solved heh.

    ETR - Extended Tonal Range. Performs well as low as 33 Hz works great as a bass head. It has the same tubes on its clean channel as the AD200B. Sounds awesome through my acoustic stack, just got back from playing. It's not for you if you want to play clean though, but distorted it sounds...

    Why does everyone here appear to "pimp out" a mid-priced bass as soon as they get it?

    personally, id rather just go out and buy a nice bass, but thats because now i can afford to. when i was younger and couldnt, i swapped out the electronics and my squier strat and my sr300 because i couldnt afford to buy better guitars, but I COULD afford new pickups and pots.
