Thanks for that! I actually bought it for use with a p/a to hear the front man of the band but Covid shut everything down before I got a chance to even try it out. Since all the other monitors were powered I'm guessing that's what I will need with the typical p/a. Is that a safe assumption?

I bought a used Galaxy Audio microspot unpowered monitor but the volume is barely audible when I plug it into my Fender Rumble 800. I tried pre and post lines out. Should I have bought a powered monitor or did I buy a defective unit.

Thanks for all the input. I gave the truss rod about an eighth of a turn lefty loosey and put a sliver of a business card under the nut. Success!! The excess mwah is gone!

Maybe this has been answered but I'm too lazy to read all the entries here. I put a new short scale fretless neck on my Squire VM Jaguar and I'm very pleased with the results EXCEPT for one issue. On the G string when I get close to the nut I get way too much mwah. Once I'm past about the b flat...
