It is fixed. Turned out to be a power amp let down. I think it was a spike in the power, but I don't know. They replaced it in less than 7 days and I am back playing. Just wish I knew for sure what did it so that I could NOT duplicate it in the future.

That was my first head besides a combo. I liked it but it was probably only enough to power 2x10 if that. Never had one failure the 2 years I owned it. No complaints really other than not enough power to push stuff.

Trying to give good constant power. Trying to prevent surges and spikes and dips. The way it runs on my computer is the battery in it supplies the power. The 110v from the wall just charges the battery. I just need to know how hungry a LH 1000 hartke is and see if it works for what I want.

Fender P Bass or Squire P is my fav. Fender and Squire Jazz work too. I just like the woody tone of the P in most older Gospel type songs/hymns

Just wondering...how much electricity does the LH1000 pull? I was thinking of getting a power unit like the battery back up on my computer but don't know if it will work or how big of one I would need.

Yep....the question was does the amp come with a fast blow or slow blow fuse installed. Knowing how the fuse works is why I took it apart and looked for burnt stuff and bad smells, luckily found nothing.

Last night at a show I was playing and then nothing. I thought it was the wireless unit as it was the first time I ever used it, but it was my amp. The fuse blew, bad. The amp was hot, but not more than normal. I opened it up and nothing smelled bad and nothing was burnt. So my question is do...

I did it and I just saw that there is 2 different caps. One for the push pull and one for standard tone. I bought the standard tone and now have to redo as I cannot tell any difference when pulling/pushing the tone knob. Hope there is better luck next time.

I talked to a guy today and he said any 250 push pull tone knob should work since it is a single coil...hope it is correct :D

Back to this again. I finally have the cap. I am having a hard time locating the push pull tone pot. I think I could use another brand if I knew which to get. What is the resistance of the factory tone knob? and could I use a fender push pull pot? Let me know or get me a link if you can. Thanks
