I got some Senheiser HD300s a while ago and I do not have an amp, so I play going straight through my Zoom bass effects pedal. Has anyone had any major issues with clipping when playing through headphones? Asking because I do not want to totally destroy them...I can already hear a buzzing...

It was really stupid how they packed this thing. Literally just a box inside of a box with light packing paper in between.

I should also clarify that I did not "pay" for extra insurance. This was the standard $900 that it is automatically covered for. No extra insurance.

In this case, FedEx did actually pack the box themselves so (arguably) it's on them. I spoke to the seller this morning and he has the ball rolling on the claim. He said he will take care of me whatever happens. He's a TB member.

gotcha, so they will actually send an insurance guy out to check it out then. thats good to know. also, this was a person to person deal, no reverb or ebay.

I am the buyer. Bought the bass used. The bass arrived today and it had a few holes in the outer and inner box. I checked the bass out and it had one or two knicks in it that I hadn't noticed from the pictures. Plus, the electronics cover was warped and not flush with the body like it had been...

Headstock shape is pretty big for me honestly. The G&L headstock is hideous even though the bass sounds incredible. Can't stand Fender Jazz with 5 in line tuners, the 4+1 is absolutely gorgeous to me though. Ibanez 3+2 does not look good to me but the 2+3 looks awesome on the premium models...

What is the advantage of using a setup like this as opposed to just using an effects pedal with headphones and an 1/8" input jack?
