Definitely check out the Spectors. The Legend series can be had used for around $$350-400 bucks. Then you should replace the electronics with an active three band (around$200). After that you have a GREAT bass that equals $1000-$1500 models for around $600. THESE BASSES ROCK FOR METAL!!!!. Also...
